‘Sopranos’ swag up for auction online

A haul of “Sopranos” swag has gone up for auction online — including such big hits as gangster Bobby Baccalieri’s fat suit and a library of scripts.

The autographed fat suit worn by actor Steve Schirripa’s character had an opening bid of $1,000 with the final online hammer coming down on Aug. 4, according to Steiner Auctions, which is conducting the internet auction.

Schirripa wore the “Bacala” suit because he was supposed to be so fat that Tony Soprano, played by the late James Gandolfini, mocked him relentlessly. But in real life, Schirripa and Gandolfini, were about the same size.

“I got the role, and I got the script, and then I saw all these references, that Tony would say to me, ‘You’re fat this, you’re fat that, you’re a calzone with legs.’ And I’m going, ‘I’m not that much fatter than him,’ ” Schirripa told Hollywood.com back in 2012.

“Then they called me a couple of days before the shoot, and they said, ‘Come on down, you’ve got to get fitted for a fat suit.’ So, (for the) first two seasons I (was on the show) wore a fat suit.”

The show was a hit and Schirripa lived high on the hog — and eventually ditched the fat suit in favor of Mother Nature.

“I guess they thought I got fat enough on my own and I didn’t wear it anymore,” said Schirripa, who autographed the fat suit “Bacala.”

Several scripts are up for grabs, most marked “Confidential.” Cast members are supposed to destroy their scripts, if they were loyal of the production family.

The most valuable script appears to be for “The Blue Comet” — the 85th and next-to-last episode of the long-running HBO show. It’s going for at least $1,000.

The highest-ticket item could be an 18K gold watch that Gandolfini ordered for castmates in 2007. The Kobold watch, with an opening bid of $10,000, is engraved “Thank You – J. G.”

Another potential hit will be a Cooperstown Bat Co. baseball bat made for Schirripa.

It’s marked “The Sopranos – Bacala” and set to go for at least $500.
